Monday, October 15, six students traveled to Houlton High School to attend a candidate forum sponsored by LEAD (Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development). Audience members were asked to submit questions to the candidates to hear their position on different issues ranging from energy to education. Candidates participating in the forum are running for state senate and house positions. This activity is part of Houlton Hodgdon Adult Education's participation in the 2012 VERA (Voter Education Registration and Action) project.
